Homa is a Sanskrit word which we use here synonymously with the term, Yajnya. Yajnya is the technical term from the Vedic science of bioenergy denoting the process of removing the toxic conditions from the atmosphere through the agency of fire. This means healing and purifying the atmosphere with fire as the medium.
This is the central idea in Homa Therapy. The word therapy refers to healing. Homa Therapy means healing by utilising the healing effects of Homa fire on the atmosphere.
HOMA Therapy is a totally revealed science. It is as old as creation. In the course of time this knowledge was lost but it is now being resuscitated to give people guidance about how to correct the polluted conditions of the planet we find ourselves in today. HOMA Therapy comes from VEDAS, the ancientmost body of knowledge known to man. Homa Therapy has applications in several areas.
Agnihotra is the basic Homa, the basic tool used in Homa Therapy. Agnihotra is a small fire prepared in a copper pyramid tuned to the circadian rhythm of sunrise and sunset. Agnihotra is easy to practice in the home, at work, in the community, in fact wherever you are at the specified times of sunrise and sunset.
During the process of performing Agnihotra, much healing energy emanates from the Agnihotra pyramid. An aura energy field is created around all living beings in the proximity of the pyramid. In this way, humans, animals and plants become more resistant to disease.
When the flames of the Agnihotra fire extinguish, the aura field withdraws into the ash, which is used as a basis for folk medicines. As every aspect of performance of Agnihotra yields a medicinal effect (sound and light healing vibrations, purifying smoke, etc.) so, too, does the remaining ash have a powerful harmonizing effect on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels.
Agnihotra ash is completely pure and safe to apply topically or take internally for humans and animals. Many people take a pinch of Agnihotra ash powder orally three times a day.
